Every year Caritas takes part in Food for Families. Caritas, along with many organizations and businesses band together to collect non-perishable food in a one-day coordinated drive on the Friday before Thanksgiving. |

The Feast of Caring is the key fundraising event for Caritas and is extremely important to the ongoing funding of our emergency assistance programs. It allows us to celebrate the work of Caritas in the company of people who promote and support our ministry of helping people in need. The Feast is an evening that features a simple meal of bread and soup to help attendees empathize with the struggles of those who have serious needs in their lives. This event usually occurs in March. |

Dancin on the Brazos is a yearly event that usually occurs in May. Caritas of Waco, together with Big 95-KBGO Radio and KXXV-TV host a night of music, dancing, and family fun. In the previous two year’s “Johnny Dee and the Rocket 88’s” have been headliners.
Proceeds will aid the emergency assistance services of Caritas of Waco, which serves hundreds of local individuals each month. |
